Once again, schoolhistory.co.uk has some useful resources on Nazi Germany. This is a simple, easy-to-follow PowerPoint by Mr. Huggins, on how the Nazis used terror to control the German population.
A collection of links and resources for my 2009 classes.
Nice set of slides. But is it Niemollen or NiemolleR? I've seen at least three different versions of that "First they came for..." poem, but they all, of course, carry the same general message. There's another version on the cabinet wall in Room A6. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely Niemoller. The Nazis arrested him in '38, I think. Amazing poem, always sends a shiver up my spine. Or down it.
